THE RULES OF LOVE HAS NOT CHANGED

The reason why the relationships of today's youths keep failing is because we seem to think that the rules of love and commitment has changed.

Instead of pouring out ourselves to our partners and hope/trust they'll do the same for us, we wait for them to pour out themselves to us, then we hold back and keep from doing the same for them.

We think that by so doing, we have absolute power and control in the relationship. What we fail to understand is that "attraction has expiry date."

Sooner or later, the spell breaks and the affair hits the rocks. We move on, get involved with a new partner, and the same thing happens again. The cycle continues.

No manner of emotional manipulation can replace genuineness, humility, sacrifice, and tolerance in a relationship.

Except you enjoy the merry-go-round cuz of its temporary/detrimental sexual and monetary benefits, you might wanna hit the breaks and uphold the never-changing rule of love and commitment.
