EVER WONDERED WHAT A GOSPEL “BEEF” TRACK WOULD BE LIKE??? THIS 3-MINUTE NO CHORUS HARDCORE GOSPEL RAP “BEEF” WILL BLOW YOU OFF!!!

For rappers and rap lovers, the word “beef” is nothing unfamiliar. However, it is only a common phenomenon in the secular music world, as the 2PACs and the B.I.Gs have limited its seeming relevance to secular music. But do you know that gospel beef tracks actually exist???

Years back, a couple of African American rappers came together and formed a gospel rap group called “I’M DOING JESUS (IDJ) MOVEMENT.” These black guys blessed rap lovers with spirit-lifting works of poetry which were creatively composed, and transported them to the souls of rap lovers via foundation-quaking hip hop beats.

But things got bad along the line and one of them thought it wise to sound some sort of clarion call to the group leader via a 3-minute no-chorus rap sensation titled “ANSWER THAT!!!” In the song, the rapper, who goes by the name JoeDoe, is heard spitting out poetic flows like;


“I’m a Christian that raps, not a rapper that’s Christian. Between rappers and Christians, the Christian is really missing. They bring the streets to the church and act just like a thug. The question is, does it line up with what’s above??? No one is preaching that perfection is in the Father. The excuse is, no one is perfect, so why even bother???”

Further spilling out in-depth flows, he dropped a thought provoking line that goes thus; “We say we’re we brothers but no support when we take a stand.” And just before drawing the 3-minute freestyle to an end, he recited the group slogan which states thus; “God gives the light, I just happen to shine. I don’t rap, I tell the truth, I just happen to rhyme.”
